Paws-ative dog training was established in 2004 to help build strong human – canine relationships, and to deal with any problems you may be having with your canine friends – and to have some fun in the process!

I have lived and worked with dogs for over 20 years. My career started in 2001 when I did a HND in Animal Science (Behavioural Studies) at DMU Lincoln. I then worked at a behaviour practice in Norfolk for 2 years before moving back to Cornwall and setting up Paws-ative dog training. As my business grew, I decided to rent a permanent site, which is based just off the A39 Devoran roundabout, between Truro and Falmouth.
I have worked as a trainer for Dog AID for 4 years, helping owners get thier dog qualified as assistance dogs.
I also took at assessment with the IMDT in 2015 to become a fully qualified trainer within thier ethical standards. . IMDT
I continue to further my education in dog training, keeping up to date with new methods.
I work my own dogs in agility, sheep herding and various other exercises.
I only use reward-based training. This is the best way to ensure a happy and productive relationship with your dog.
All classes are small with a maximum of 5 dogs
